Irace
Due to the lack of r/c car clubs in Southampton, Alex Suckling, Tony Spenser and Richard Harris decided to get a group of people together to create a regular race meeting.
They race on Sunday mornings at Otterbourne Village hall indoors on a carpet track with plastic box section walls.
They race on a 6mx14m footprint and a standard oval track with a 2mx10m island.
They race 1/12th scale models based on the Mardave V12 series.
They are a club with members of all ages.
There is a very friendly atmosphere and everyone is willing to help anyone who requires assistance in setting up the car or carrying out emergency repairs between heats.
