SMF RACEWAY

The Scout Hall, Oldfield Lane, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, PE13 2RJ

The club was established in 1999 by James "Brad" Bradford and Jonathan "Scooby" Norman.

Both James and Scooby have been racing for over 30 years in several different classes of RC, and have both won numerous titles.  The club has been going strong since the start, attracting 20 to 30 drivers per meeting, which is good for a mid week club.  They run an adult and junior Banger Championship, but run the juniors in with the adults, as they feel this helps the youngsters become better drivers and hone their driving skills.

The Scout Hall has ample parking, wheelchair access, toilet facilities and ample power points, with a good supply of tables and chairs.

In addition to their regular Thursday evening meeting, they also run the occasional weekend meeting too.

In early 2018, the club had the honour of hosting a demo meeting at Mildenhall Stadium in Suffolk, with drivers from several clubs attending, helping to promote this wonderful sport!

There is a great atmosphere in the club and welcoming to  drivers of all ages and ability.  Everyone is keen to help others, and there is plenty of good humoured banter!

There is a spares shop on site, along with a small snack bar, and the club is just 2 minutes from the local McDonalds and KFC.
