Club was established in 2002

Situated a couple of miles West of the M1, J26, on the A160 in Nottingham, NDLO is one of only two tracks of this size in the country.  One of the original founders still races at the club.

The cars are basically FG Marders with 23cc or 26cc two stroke petrol engines.  The big tyres, body and roll cage are removed, then fitted with touring car tyres and a custom built steel chassis.  The aim is for large scale racing at low cost!

There is no spares shop, but all the drivers arrive fully stocked and are happy to swap, sell, or loan parts to each other.  There is a canteen on site which is open almost every meeting.

There are approx. 5 to 12 drivers per meeting, which doesn't sound a lot, but is plenty for their size on the oval.  It's a safe sport too; if a car needs to be recovered during a race, everyone stops, a Marshall retrieves the car, and everyone waits for the command to proceed from the race director.
