The club was established in 2006 by Andy "Clem" Clements, Chris "Jugsy" Ward, Mike "Gothic Fox" Murray and Nick Hodson.

Held in the Scout Hall at Gresley, this is a great fun club to visit. The guys started off by racing non-contact RC's, but after a visit to Essex, just had to start a Banger club, and so Burton Banger Club was born! Tragically, the world lost the wonderful "Jugsy" back in January of 2015, and now Burton hold a memorial meeting every year in his honour. Through all their hard work, the club is now established as one of the best known clubs in the UK, welcoming visitors and newcomers from all around. A friendly club, with lots of humorous banter flying around! Well worth a visit.
There is a substantial spares shop on site run by Clem, as well as a great snack bar, serving hot & cold food and drinks for all your refreshments needs.
