Brentwood RC Raceway was established in 2015 by Simon Alexander (Midge), Darren Goldberg (Divvy), Sean Foley and Michael Collins.

This a permanent track in an industrial unit on Frieze Hall Farm, and has rapidly become a hugely popular club nestled in the Essex countryside, attracting an average of 50 drivers per meeting.  At most race meetings they hold a separate Junior Bangers class (under 16 years), enabling youngsters, some as young as 5 years old, to enjoy some bashing and crashing of their own, honing their driving skills in preparation to take on the adults!

The majority of race meetings take place on a Saturday evening, with the doors opening at 5pm and racing starting at 7pm, and occasionally a Sunday, with doors opening at 10.30am and racing starting at Midday.

On Thursday evenings they open the doors at 6.30pm for "practice night" where you can practice as much as you like, with any car, perfect your "set up" and enjoy the social side of this wonderful sport!

The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly and helpful, with many drivers offering help and advice, and sharing tips.

Brentwood also has a permanent shop, "Midge's RC Spares", stocking all relevant spares for all formulas raced at the club, and boasts the largest body shell stockist in the South East.  If it's not in stock, Midge will get it in stock!

There is also a snack bar, offering a selection of hot and cold drinks, sweets, chocolate and snacks to keep your energy up throughout the meeting!

They also offer a hire service, so if you're not sure if this is for you, a small fee which allows you to give it a try without forking out for all the equipment in advance.  This also includes the assistance of a number of club members who will be with you for the evening to help with any breakdowns or repairs sustained whilst racing, help and advice; what a bargain!

"Midge's RC Spares" also buys and sells 2nd hand cars, enabling new drivers to keep the initial "start up" costs as low as possible.
